1951 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith – Touring Limousine – “Ralph”
“Ralph” our beautiful Rolls Royce Silver Wraith was coach built by H J Mulliners in 1951 and is exquisitely finished in Midnight Blue and Primrose Ivory. The car is the perfect choice of wedding car for the discerning couple looking for elegantly classic styling.
The spacious and luxury interior is finished in blue leather with burr walnut fittings, and features of the rear compartment include champagne tables, footstools, mood lighting and electric division between passengers and chauffeur.
The wide contra opening doors and inside step allow passengers too elegantly and effortless enter and leave the car and there is ample room for the largest of wedding gowns.
The car can seat four passengers, three in the back and one in the front if needed. The beautifully designed and proportioned body, with elegant sweeping wings & impressive chrome lights make the car particularly photogenic, for those all important wedding photos.
The iconic Rolls Royce grill is fitted with an original and rare keeling spirit of ecstasy mascot.
The car was designed as ‘top of the range’ for the Rolls Royce stand at the 1951 Earls Court Motor Show and subsequently toured the many cars shows in Europe as the Rolls Royce display car, before being purchased by a titled Scottish Lady.
The Rolls Royce Silver Wraith was the 1st post war car produced by Rolls Royce, with many of them being built as formal limousines. The car when new cost four times more than the standard Rolls Royce Silver Dawn or Bentley Mark V, designed to give their very wealthy and often Royal clients exclusivity.
